Pin the extension so it's always in view.
Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, then click the pin next to Scam SafeGuard.
Once pinned, the icon turns blue — that's how you know it worked.

Know what the shield colour means.
The toolbar icon changes colour depending on what we've found:
Light green — checked, and it's safe
Dark green — not yet scanned
Orange — be careful
Red — dangerous
