What does the red "This site is dangerous" screen mean?
It means Scam SafeGuard believes this website is dangerous — for example, it may match a known scam site. Depending on your settings, you may be able to continue after an extra confirmation step, or there may be no option to continue at all.
- Read the short plain-English line under the heading — it explains the main reason.
- If you want more detail, tap "Why we flagged this" to see the full list of reasons.
- "Go back to safety" is always shown, and is the safest choice.
- Depending on your settings, you may also see "I understand the risk — continue anyway". If you tap it, you'll be asked to confirm before you can go through. If your protection is set to Maximum Protection, or if a caregiver has turned on the Lock on this device, this option won't appear at all — there's no way past a red screen in that case, by design.
There is never a "trust this site forever" option on a red screen, for anyone, under any setting. If you believe a red screen is wrong, see "A website is blocked and I think that's wrong".
