How do I set up a Trusted Contact?

Trusted Contact is a Premium or Family feature. If you're on the Free plan, you won't see the setup form — you'll see an upgrade screen instead, which is expected, not a fault. Once you're on Premium or Family, it takes a couple of minutes to set up.

A Trusted Contact is someone — usually an adult child or family member — who gets a short weekly email about how many links were checked and how many looked risky. It never shows them which websites you visited.

1. Click the shield icon in your Chrome toolbar, then open Settings.
2. Find the "Trusted Contact" section.
3. Enter the email address of the person you want to add.
4. Click "Send invitation."
5. That person will get an email asking them to confirm. Nothing is sent to them until they confirm.
6. Once they confirm, you'll see their (partly hidden) email address shown as active, and their first weekly summary will arrive the following week.

What they will see: how many links were checked, how many looked risky, and a general category if something was flagged (like "a fake delivery page"). What they will never see: which websites you visited, or any browsing history.
